While working on a car a small piece of dirt/hard acid got into my eye, thus becoming a stye even after an emergancy flush. It appeared on my lower right eye lid. It was noticable and highly annoying. I used two different applications, eye drops and eye ointment. Niether worked. The only thing that worked was a hot compress, which during my work hours was very hard to maintain. It has been about 6 months now and it has gone down considerably, but Im afraid the hot compress is not working anymore. I have recently continued with the hot compress and small applications of apple cider vinegar to my lower eye lid. What else could I do? Has it became a Chalazion? Please Doc, Reply.
